What is a CYBERDUCKPROFILE file?

Connection profile used by Cyberduck, an open source FTP, SFTP, and WebDAV application; saved in an XML format and contains information about a specific type of connection.

Cyberduck connection profiles are used to add more options to the list of choices in the "Open Connection" window. For example, a Dropbox connection profile can be used to add Dropbox.com to the list of connection options.

In Mac OS X, Cyberduck connection profiles are saved in the following folder:

~/Library/Application Support/Cyberduck/Profiles

NOTE: Cyberduck connection profiles may sometimes be downloaded as ".cyberduckprofile.xml" files. You may need to remove the ".xml" part of the file extension in order for Cyberduck to open the file.
